When venturing to other neighborhoods in New Orleans, the Streetcar is a great, leisurely transportation option. The location is a few blocks from the N. Amazing Condo with Balcony Steps from the French Quarter

This 2 bedroom 3 bath unit is a very comfortable at 920 sq ft and overlooks the courtyard, pool, cabanas, and grotto. It has two private balconies overlooking the courtyard. The living/ dining/kitchen are “open floor plan style” designed for socializing. All appliances are top of the line stainless steel. The unit is richly appointed with original paintings, art work, and local photography. All of our countertops at The Natchez are custom made out of 200+ year heart pine timbers that were meticulously reclaimed during the renovation and restoration of this historic Greek Revival building. The exposed brick walls in the living areas, along with the large French doors, exposed beams, and cathedral ceilings blend with the modern furnishings and contemporary art. The interior bedroom has a huge 4’ x 4’ skylight with motorized blackout shades, and each bedroom has an en suite bath. All bedrooms are richly appointed and have either a king size or queen size beds. With cable, wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, tea kettle, and coffee machine, you'll have all the comforts of home. Guests have full access to the backyard. Please respect quiet hours after 9 pm. The home, in classic New Orleans style, is split into two separate dwellings, with a shared backyard. I live on the other side of the duplex with my sweet miniature goldendoodle, Willie Nelson. I'm more then happy to interact or give you privacy. I've lived in New Orleans a long time and can offer any information you need about the city. Seventh Ward/Tremé is seen by many as the city's quintessential Creole neighborhood. Home to musicians, politicians, artists, and activists; it’s near City Park, the Degas House, the Free People of Color Museum, and a 20-30 minute walk or quick Lyft/Uber from the French Quarter. Coffee shops and local food nearby. The neighborhood is an authentic, richly diverse, NOLA neighborhood for experienced travelers, outside of the traditional tourists spots of Bourbon Street and Garden District. Parking is free on the street and there’s always ample parking. Walking a mile down Esplanade Ave to the French Quarter is lovely in the daytime. Ride shares and taxis are recommended everywhere in New Orleans at night, and the fare from Maison Laharpe to the Quarter is under $10, 5-7 minutes. Bus routes are nearby, as are Blue Bike rentals. More information on these and the streetcars can be found in the guest guide in the home. This is a traditional shotgun style house which is unique to New Orleans. It's the most common type of house that you'll find throughout the city. The location is close to the famous Treme neighborhood and is a convenient to walk to local restaurants and grocery stores on Esplanade Avenue, one of the most beautiful streets in the city. You can also take an inexpensive Uber or Lyft a mile north to City Park or a mile south to the French Quarter/Bywater or Downtown CBD/Warehouse District. Local city rental bikes are also available along Esplanade and are a great way to see the city. No smoking, parties, or pets. We DO NOT host to children under 12 years old. Classic New Orleans apartment with character and charm located off the street in a lovely 1890's double shotgun. Stylishly furnished with many original architectural details - 13 foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and mantles, clawfoot tub with shower, and private, landscaped courtyard. Stylishly furnished - the living room sports a 52 inch t.v. + Amazon Fire Stick - the bedroom has a Tempurpedic king size mattress - the fully equipped kitchen has a residential size fridge and stove with seating for four. The private courtyard is located right off of the kitchen with a Weber charcoal grill and seating for four as well. The condo is on the quiet end of world-famous Frenchmen Street, also known as Bourbon Street. Nearby are classic New Orleans restaurants and the best music venues in the city. All the cool spots, plus amenities like grocery stores, are walkable. They call it the BIG EASY for a reason! My Guide Book has all the specifics: PARKING - If you drive, parking is available right out front of the building. It is free, no meters, or parking restrictions. Unlike the rest of the Quarter! WALKING - You can easily get to all the cool spots on foot. Most guests never move their cars for their entire stay! BIKING- You can rent bikes just around the corner. UBER, LYFT & TAXIS - are easy to catch! PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION - The world famous "Red Streetcar" line of Rampart/ St. Claude is about one block away. It links you with the ENTIRE city of New Orleans! Our condo is in the coolest neighborhood in the city and on quiet end of world-famous Frenchmen Street. Also known as local's Bourbon Street. It is a fully separate home for you to enjoy. My husband and I live upstairs and we love to give recommendations about what to eat and where to go, but leave you to have your privacy.
