An idyllic countryside farmhouse, nestled between two pristine rivers and over 1500 acres of national park. Built in 1850, and renovated in 2015, this farmhouse has the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury, and is a designated historical landmark in New York state. Home features include wood burning hot tub, handmade furniture, French linen, oversized bathtub, original artworks throughout the home, shaded patio, fire pit, and so much more. The home is also a three-minute walk to hiking trails, the river, and waterfalls. The first floor of our farmhouse features: a hand-made Dutch door entrance, an oversized gas fireplace, local antique furniture from nearby towns, a bookshelf of artfully collects titles, a vinyl record player (and yes — an Alexa as well), a comfy sofa and a huge dinning room table that can fit up to 12 people. Outside the living room, we have a private reading room with high-end furniture and plenty of plants; which is a sun-drenched space for reading, relaxation or working. The kitchen is antique in all ways but one: all the appliances have been modernized, and we have every piece of equipment you’ll ever need. As you move upstairs, you’ll find a day bed and another desk for reading or writing. This splits off to the master bathroom which features a glass shower, two sinks, and the perhaps the largest bathtub you could imagine. The master bedroom has a king bed and various decorative antiques, as well as a view of the mountains outside. The second bedroom has a full bed and is filled with art and antiques. While the house is a real joy, it’s just a small part of the package. Take one step outside the door and miles upon miles of hiking trails and swimming spots are right there for you. Our whole home is open to you. However, we typically lock the laundry room; but are happy to open it for you at no extra cost. We’re always available to help you whether it be by phone, email, or in-person. The farmhouse is located in the Valley of Spas or Glen Spey, only 90 minutes from New York City. Natural beauty abounds right outside the house with numerous lakes, rivers, brooks, and waterfalls just a quick walk or drive away. The charming towns of the Catskills: Port Jervis, Narrowsburg, Barryville, and Livingston Manor are a scenic drive away. The farmhouse is about 80 miles from New York City, starting from the George Washington Bridge. It's an easy and scenic drive from the city. Getting here by train? The house is 12 minutes from the Port Jervis train station. You can take the New Jersey Transit from Penn Station to Port Jervis, which is also about 2-hour ride. This is one of the best places to hike in the area. You walk 100 yards here and you’ll find yourself on a private trial to a waterfall; walk the other way and you’ll find yourself on 4 mile hike along the Mongaup River. Head yet another way and go on a great hike through the ridge with great views of the mountains . That’s all walking distance! The farmhouse is on 120+ acres. It's located right next to a huge waterfall and a river. The waterfall is 1 minute walk and the river is a quick hike from the house. It's also close to all the best restaurants, farmers markets, trails and various lakes/rivers. The property also has various hiking trails available only to guests. Charming Revitalized 1920s Country Style Home

Venture back in time in this tastefully appointed historical residence. First floor apartment is a quaint abode showcasing boutique furnishings and decor, contrasting textures and motifs, arched doorways, a covered front porch, and a walkout to the backyard. We are 20 minutes away from Legoland, also located near Wallkill, and an easy drive to Warwick and Patterson. Our home is eclectic and unique, placed in the historic district of pine bush. This home provides up to date appliances and cozy furnishings while still holding onto that good ol’ 1920’s feel. Plenty of room for dining in and an easy ride or walk to great food. This home is bright and cheery yet provides privacy and warmth. The entire first floor is your domain. With a private entrance and easy parking. The locked doors you will encounter is for your privacy. There are permanent renters above you, however they have their own entrance and are completely separate. Trust us you won’t need more space than what’s provided, very roomy with a closet in each room, as well as in the dining area. Up until your check in we are available to you through Airbnb with any questions or concerns you might have. After check in most vacationers prefer to hit the ground running and begin enjoying their stay, however for little bumps in the road a number will be provided in order to continue taking care of you. The property boasts easy access to hikes, Wallkill Farms, wineries, Legoland and is walking distance from multiple restaurants, antique shops, and more. We recommend renting a car. While this home is walking distance to restaurants and downtown pine bush the beautiful rural scenery means a little distance of 10-20 minutes of driving between wineries and hikes and other enjoyable activities. We want our guests to enjoy their time to the fullest, and know that we care about their stay. Which is why we like to make clear our home runs on city water. There is an initial aroma from the faucet, however it doesn’t last long and adjustments to that are in the process. We of course offer you filtered water for you and your family. This home is multiple stories which adds to its beautiful character. You and your family will be occupying the entire first floor. Glass doorknobs and a claw-foot tub maintain a vintage vibe, while smart TVs and an updated kitchen offer modern comforts. Rare off-street parking provides safe secure parking for two guest vehicles. Licensed with the City of Newport and inspected by the fire marshall, provides assurance that you're protected. Guests can use up to two tandem parking spots in the driveway, the back stairs up to the second floor deck, the second floor deck (until 10 pm) and of course the front door. I live on the first floor, Im not always home, but I’m always available to answer any questions about the area or the house via text or phone at any time. I try to leave my guests alone to come and go as they please without feeling like they need to interact unless they want to. I’m always happy to say hello, introduce myself and chit chat when I’m home, but I don’t want my guests to feel obligated. The apartment is a little over a mile from the Cliff Walk, and a 5-minute stroll to Newport's trendy Broadway restaurants and shops. It's a mile to the Bowen’s and Bannister's wharf area. Runners will love the route down Bellevue Avenue. Your best bet is to leave your car parked and either walk or use Uber or Lyft to get around, it’s generally cheaper than parking downtown. Parking in Newport is very limited, my approval from the City of Newport is contingent on not allowing guests, or myself park on the street, (many of my neighbors don’t have driveways). If you have two cars, please park one behind the other all the way over on the right side of the driveway. If you pull all the way to the front of the driveway there’s plenty of room. My next door neighbors are close and have children, I ask folks to keep outdoor conversations fairly quiet, and please move in off the deck by 10pm out of respect for my neighbors.

Our artistic, spacious , comfortable home is set on 13 (fairytale-esque) private, forest acres. We are minutes away from hiking trails, swimming lakes, and the Hudson River where you can kayak. The house is located on 13 acres of land just minutes away from the vibrant shopping of downtown Cold Spring, NY. It is surrounded by lakes and hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail. We are minutes away from the Cold Spring train station. From here, you can get to Manhattan in an hour and 10 minutes. Occasionally our two small hypoallergenic dogs are with us in the house — one toy poodle and one shih tzu. If you'd like to bring your dog(s), this is a pet friendly home! Our dogs will not stay here when you visit, of course.
