The Cottage - Self contained rural holiday retreat

A delightful self contained rural holiday chalet situated in the 3.5 acre grounds of our smallholding. We are in a small rural hamlet surrounded by orchards and footpaths with a village pub 4 doors away. Close to sandy beaches at Minnis Bay, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate's Royal Harbour. Whitstable and the city of Canterbury are close by. We are also only 30 minutes to the eurotunnel and dover port if you fancy a day trip to france. Sandwich Bay and St Georges golf course are a short drive.

Sleeps up to 6 people, with 2 twin bedrooms & a master bedroom with ensuite. Pett Level beach is a five-minute walk. The historic towns of Rye & Hastings are within walking distance, or a bus ride away, running hourly. There are 2 local pubs in Pett village, which can be reached by a five-minute drive or half-hour walk. Dog friendly (max 2). No events.

The log cabin type building is perfectly situated on the Romney marsh alongside the famous "Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway'. The space is quiet, quaint and quirky and is built by myself. A beautiful chalet, set on Park Dean's Romney Sands holiday park. The site benefits from an indoor swimming pool, sports courts, fishing lake, miniature golf, pub and club house. The clubhouse provides fantastic entertainment and food is served throughout the day. The chalet is both comfortable and fairly spacious. Romney sands is conveniently located across from Greatstone beach and also has a station for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway.

Kingsdown is a pretty village with 3 pubs and shops, all in 5 min walking distance. Location is Camber sands Parkdean Holiday Park, with access to their entertainment site, swimming pool and restaurant. The entertainment passes are not included and can be bought from reception on arrival.
