Randall's Island is accessible via a pedestrian bridge that connects the East River Esplanade to Randall's Island around 102nd Street. Great views of the east side of Manhattan, as well as it has a path that circumnavigates the whole island for biking, walking or running as well as baseball and soccer fields.

If you're up for adventure you can bike or walk to this huge park. Tons of green space, biking trails, BBQ pits, and sports fields, with some good views of Manhattan. Pedestrian bridges are at 125th and 103rd.
