Why locals recommend it

It’s very Barbary Coast, Gold Rush-era feeling. I’ve seen some really awesome people show up in jazz attire, full-on suits and fedoras. They have an upright piano set up, there’s a standup bass—it feels like there’s always something amazing about to happen. This is where they serve some of the best pisco punch in the city, which is a San Francisco thing. It’s just as much of a thing here as Irish coffee.

A menu of classic cocktails, such as Negroni and the Manhattan, in a setting that preserves the saloon's historic design elements and pays tribute to San Francisco's Barbary Coast.
