This is the closest supermarket to Bajamar...approximately 20 minutes away. It’s well stocked and you have to pass by it on your way to Bajamar. Additional benefit is that it’s located in the world famous Puerto Nuevo lobster village!

Best place to do a local grocery run. Calimax is a modern American-style store with bakery, produce, butcher, dry goods and pharmacy. You can even book an appointment to see a doctor on-site who can then issue a prescription. You MUST MUST MUST buy fresh-made flour tortillas from the bakery section. They will complement any meal - quesadillas, breakfast burritos, and more!
