Located 5km from Tower House, Muckross Abbey is one of the major ecclesiastical sites, found in Killarney National Park, founded in 1448. it is the burial place of local chieftans from the 17th and 18th centuries.

100% a must visit! You can either walk from Muckross House or you can park about a kilometre away on the main Muckross road - parking is free.
