OK it's really far away, but if you've never had Burmese food, this is outstanding. Get the tea leaf salad, and only order the Burmese food, Chinese options are mediocre.

Nice cafe, good spot for lunch or just coffee. Nice selection of sandwiches and something for the sweet tooth. Free wi-fi making it a great place to grab a light bite & get some work done.

This is the oldest Burmese restaurant in San Francisco, and this is the only location. Unlike the local chain Burma Superstar, this place is not trendy. However, we think the food is much better, the owner is always there greeting guests, you have real Buddhist alters, the decor is quirky, and the food is better. We always bring our personal guests here when they visit! Get the tea leaf salad and the somusa soup for appetizers. We highly recommend the mango chicken and Burmese special noodles.
