Close to Doonbeg. Lovely beach for walking. Also beach horse riding with West Clare Equestrian- I can organise a beach horse riding session for you. Not advised for swimming.

This beach is about a 12 minute drive away near the village of Doonbeg. You can park near the hotel and walk the beach. There is also a surfers entrance that brings you through the golf course 😀

A 2.8 km stretch of beach provides a very refreshing walk with spectacular Atlantic views on one side & Trump's Golf Links course on the other. Also a popular surfing destination.
