A beautiful natural swimming hole with a stoney beach, fed by a waterfall, the Glengarriff River flows through bringing small fish which can be clearly seen in the crystal clean water.

A brilliant swimming hole, although very fresh. Pooleen is a big pool in the river with a gorgeous waterfall constantly feeding it. A favorite with families. Great place to bring a camping barbecue.
