You need to eat the traditional “trippa” panino. Yes it’s made of cow intestines, but just close your eyes and eat it because YOLO. Open only for lunch.

Only opened at lunch for a stop in this typical popular osteria inside the central market ( mercato centrale) with few tables to share with others and to try tasty florentine food.

If you are in Florence you have to taste the Lampredotto! We don’t tell you what it is ;), but it is a typical Tuscan dish! Our favorite place is inside the San Lorenzo Central Market. A sandwich costs on average 3.50 euros and the specialties do not stop at tripe and lampredotto...in addition to the local wine, there are first courses, soups, bollito and much more, at super advantageous prices! Do not be discouraged by the line, the service is super fast, you will be served sooner than you think! Enjoy :)
