The market house is a historic gem and is protected as a monument, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruins on the romantic Painter's Way. Vaulted cellar and foundations date back to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a relaxation area, a post office and a tavern. In 1850, a massive extension in the classicist style took place. Röhringer ran the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

Our cozy apartment "Zaukennest" is located in our half-timbered house with separate entrance. The house is located in the 2nd row on the hillside directly on the forest and is only accessible by steps. The Zaukennest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bed is exceptionally possible. A laundry package (sheets/towels) can be added for a flat 25 EUR (get it yourself). The private parking lot is about 250 m away. Downtown and ferry dock: 5-10 min Train station by ferry: 20 min.

Our apartment is located directly at the spa park in Bad Schandau. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, the Tuscanatherme, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the historic sending elevator or, for example, the national park center. Directly from the property you can take hikes to the Schrammsteinen, the Kohlbornstein or the Rathmannsdorfer Aussichtsturm. All other highlights of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland can be reached in no time by car or public transport.

The newly renovated 70sqm apartment is located on the first floor of a house on a hillside in the small village of Schöna, 6km from Bad Schandau, 200m from the forest. Apart from windows and doors, only natural materials were used. It is heated by a stove that can also be used for cooking and baking. In addition, an electric 2-plate cooking hob is available. Take trips to Dresden, the National Park or the neighboring Czech Republic. We will be happy to advise you.

Steffi´s Hof - Summer pleasures We look forward to families and, of course, children who live with us free of charge until the age of six. The farm is located directly on the Cunnersdorfer Bach and offers peace, relaxation and pure nature in addition to the two apartments. The Erzgebirge is a sensational hiking area. Our house is a 270-year-old Umindehaus that we have lovingly renovated and rebuilt. As far as possible, we received or restored the old wooden floorboards or woodwork. Our garden is so designed that living creatures that are at home are still allowed to feel comfortable such as, salamander, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfisher and wild bees. Those who stay in the garden for a longer period of time can watch these many rare residents in our garden.

Small, cozy apartment with large, usable garden located on the south side of the Königstein Fortress. Good for families with 2 small children, but of course all others are welcome! In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or simply enjoy the great starry sky at night. There are plenty of climbing and hiking opportunities in the area. It should be noted that there is no wifi in the cottage.

Our shepherd's wagon is located on our Kraxlerhof, in the middle of Saxon Switzerland overlooking the Ochelw walls.
