IL PAGLIAIO away from it all and just for two

Live an authentic experience in an unspoiled rural place! Il Pagliaio is an old barn hidden in a peaceful secular olive grove overlooking Mount Maiella. Set high on a hill it is away from it all but it is only 3km from Tocco da Casauria village, 5km from the highway, 45km from the main local town Pescara. Relax under the shade of a hundred olive trees or head off to discover the surroundings. The inside is an open space in a simple and basic style, reflecting the rural spirit of the place.

Log cabin with great view

The cosy log cabin is located separately on a small-scale nature campsite, between ancient olive trees. The hut has a living area including a kitchenette and a sleeping area for two people. Around the cabin you can see the peaks of the Gran Sasso on one side and the high mountains of the Majella on the other side. At the terrace there is a lot of privacy. The municipal access road to the site is gravel and a little steep. Within walking distance you can find a pizzeria and an agriturismo.

The Casone is a place immersed in the green characteristic of the Abruzzo countryside. When you arrive you have privacy, fun and carefree. It's more than just a stay. It is located 30 min. from the sea and 40 min. from the nearest ski resort and 10 min. from the motorway exit. It is organized: ground floor with industrial kitchen and living room. On the first floor there is a living room with TV, 2 bathrooms with shower, a quadruple room and a double room. Second floor with 8 beds.

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.

Romantic weekend in a rural tranquility. In the heart of the mysterious region of Abruzzo on a picturesque hill an ancient rural house was given a second life. The old barn became an apartment of 30 m2, which has its own entrance and a small garden, two roofed terraces, walk-in closet, a sofa and the bathroom with walk-in shower. You can see sunset behind the great Gran Sasso while you sit on the terrace with the glass of wine.

Recently restored countryhouse, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Situated opposite a lake, 1.3 kms from historical centre and 15 minutes to beach. To reserve the entire home see also "I Tre Laghi - Countryhouse. Upon request a tour guide can be arranged inclusive of wine/oil and cheese tastings. We apologise for a slight increase in price this year due to increase of taxes on reservations, cleaning fees and commission.
