The clean design and inviting ambiance are ideal for relaxing for a cosy night in after a long day outside exploring the city... We're proud to present you with a brand new cosy NEST located in the very heart of Graça neighbourhood - our favourite one in Lisbon! Fully refurbished and re-decorated in December 2017, this nest offers a super spacious master bedroom (queen sized bed!) with a balcony with great views to Largo da Graça. We're pretty sure you'll also find the second bedroom super charming and this one showcases beautiful views to the downtown and river Tagus ("Tejo"). The flat also offers a stylish dining room for you to enjoy your meals at home, and a super comfortable and cosy living room (with TV and sofa-bed) - perfect for relaxation after a long day of making the most of the city outside, but also a great to enjoy some quality time over a glass of wine or beer with your friends & family. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, espresso machine, water kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, you name it…) is at your disposal, as well as a bathtub bathroom with guaranteed trouble-free water pressure. Apart from all of this the flat is also equipped with a fast WIFI connection and Smart TV (100+ channels), so just grab a seat at the sofa or big chair and watch a movie / tv series logging in the TV to your streaming account. Did we also mention the charming location of our NEST? Indeed it is, as you will find our NEST located right within Graça neighbourhood, one of Lisbon's 7 hills (and definitely our favourite one). This hill showcases the most amazing landscape views over the city, so please do go for a coffee at the coffee shop next to Graça's church (it's a 2min walk from home) and get blown away by the views (you can also have fantastic views from "Miradouro da Sra do Monte" which is 5 minutes walking from the nest). At the door of the flat you'll have the historical 28 electrical tram line (you must jump in and take a right all the way down to downtown Baixa - or upwards if you're coming back home), but if you just prefer to take a walk (which we fully recommend) you'll find awesome places nearby, like the Alfama neighborhood and the Panteão Nacional (5 min), St. Jorge Castle (10 min away), Baixa downtown is only 15 min walking, and so many other city attractions... Does all of this sound interesting??? Come and check it out!!! Our NEST is located in a late 19th century building covered in white & blue tile so typical of our Lisbon. Being an historical building, there's no lift / elevator, which means you will need to take the stairs (it's a 3rd floor, but actually a quite easy climb). In any case, think on the positive side: this is just a small flavour to get you used to the 7 Hills City :) (probably you've already heard that this is one of the so many names Lisbon is known by...). And we guarantee the views from upstairs will be totally worth it!!! Our Guests comfort and well being is our top priority, so we'll always be in touch to make sure we respond asap to any request or doubt. The apartment is located in the heart of Graça, a lovely neighbourhood on a hill that showcases the best views over Lisbon. Lively during the day but quiet at night, and the famous 28 electric tram goes right past the door. If you're coming by plane to the Lisbon Airport (relatively close to the city centre), there are pretty much 3 options: (1) Taking a taxi / Uber: A good option is taking a Uber/Cabify (cheaper than the typical taxis). Please consider that Uber/Cabify drivers usually pick customers up at the Departure Parking lot - takes roughly 20/25 minutes to arrive to the flat (of course, dependent on traffic). (2) Via private transfer (similar to a taxi - journey will cost about 30€): This is the most comfortable option, and if you'd like, we can also help out arranging a private transfer with one of our partners directly from the airport to the Nest - the driver would be waiting for you at the Arrivals area with a board with your name. (3) Alternative option is to take public transports: - By Bus only (whole journey will take roughly 40/45 min): take bus "708" from stop "Praça do Aeroporto" to "Rua da Palma" (13 stops - about 20 min), and from there you can walk about 12 min (800 metres) until reaching the flat - bear in mind it's walking upwards from Rua da Palma. - By Subway/Tube & Bus (whole journey will take roughly 45/50 min): take the tube from stop "Aeroporto" to "Alameda" (Red Line only), and right outside the tube station there will be a bus stop where you can take bus "735" until stop "Sapadores" (6 stops - about 14 min), and from there you can walk about 7 min (650 metres) until reaching the flat - street level is horizontal all the way, so easier to carry your luggage. If you're traveling by car and you need a parking space, you can try parking in the streets close to the flat (currently free of charge), but since these are quite busy and it can be a bit difficult to park near the flat, the best option is to park at the following parking lot: - "Parque de Estacionamento Emel" at Damasceno Monteiro Street, 1 min walking to the flat (20€ / 24h). Apart from some exceptional situations, we're pretty sure we'll be there face to face to welcome you get on with the check in procedures. Nonetheless, our NEST is prepared for self check-in (we've got door codes for the building and the flat) for those rare situations when we will not be able to welcome you face to face. And we're always super flexible when it comes to early check-ins or late check-outs (free of charge), as long as the NEST isn't occupied by someone else.

Bohemian Dreams at a Plant-filled Design Loft near the Beach

The loft was here before we moved in. It is one of the oldest buildings in Poblenou. The apartment was transformed into a big open space that includes a kitchen, a dining area, a sofa, a TV, an office space, and the bedroom. The place is in the ground floor, so it is accessible by disabled people and family with a child. We enjoy the afternoon sun and the mornings. We have sun shining into the entrance and the terrace. We've kept a lot of the industrial fittings in the space, and a lot of the furniture we've implemented follows this industrial design. One should not forget that it used to be an industrial space until earlier this year, and it's not a conventional apartment. It's one big open space, and the guest room is separated. Guests will have full access to the apartment. The accommodation includes a big open kitchen, dining area, sofa and TV area, bathroom, bedroom, terrace and plenty of space. We are usually available and love to interact with our guests. However, there are moments in which we are not available to our guests because we have our own plans. We also respect the fact that you may have plans, and don't have time to interact with us. However, we would like to enjoy a meal together at least, either a brunch or an evening snack. Our neighborhood is a vibrant, and up and coming area of Barcelona, it's a maximum 5 minutes walk to the beach, and the yellow Metro line crosses just straight outside the apartment. You need to remember the Selva de Mar stop. Around the block, there are some small restaurants and bars, there is a big supermarket called Mercadona for late night snack shopping (until 9:15 pm) or in Diagonal shopping center (until 10:00 pm). Or if you need to buy red wine for dinner. If you walk another two blocks to the South you'll find the Rambla del Poblenou, that is a pedestrian street and has numerous bars and restaurants of different quality. The Rambla Poblenou is straight all the way from Diagonal to the beach. If you like to eat tapas we can recommend you a restaurant that it is called La Tertulia in La Rambla del Poblenou or the another option is Bitacoras Restaurant near to the Rambla. If you like to eat Mexican food, “Los chilis” in La Rambla del Poblenou is a very good choice. But if you´re vegan or vegetarian, there is a vegan restaurant in front of the apartment, inside the Factory/Garden (Palo Alto) which opens Monday to Saturday. The last recommendation is “El Traspaso” which is in the corner and it is good option for the night:) You can end the night with a good cocktail and a Bloody Mary. The metro yellow line runs opposite to the beach, 5 minutes walk distance and the metro station you should look for is Selva de Mar. One thing to remember is that we are having our business registered in the space, we are freelancers, and work from home, but if someone asks, you are simply friends visiting us. Poblenou is a vibrant, up-and-coming area, with small cafes, art studios, and a pedestrian street with many restaurants and bars. The beach is just five minutes' walk away, and the yellow Metro line crosses right outside the apartment.

Former fishing house on two floors with private courtyard. Architectural highlights in Moroccan style. Located in the beautiful old town center of Salema. The excellent beach is less than a one minute walk away. From the entrance you can access the open kitchen, living and dining area overlooking the oasis-like courtyard, which is attractively decorated with high-quality stone work. A small decorative pool (not for swimming) completes the cosy ambience. With a book in hand and feet in the cold water basin, you can relax and recharge your batteries on hot summer days. The bathroom with double shower and shower toilet is located on the ground floor of the house. The two open bedrooms upstairs are each equipped with a queen-size bed under the cozy sloping ceiling. Each bedroom has direct access to the sun terrace with lounge furniture. A great night's sleep. You can hear the wind in the palm trees and the surf in the distance. Guests have access to all areas as they rent the entire house. For all questions, we are reachable (mail and telephone) and have people on site who can look after the house and be helpful.
