Sailing Experience on a 50' Luxury Yacht
We have upgraded our platform to a beautiful 2011 50 foot Jeanneau Sailboat that is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We depart Mosquito Creek and motor out of Vancouver Harbour into Burrard Inlet. You will see Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and unique views of downtown from the water. Once we pass under the Lions Gate Bridge we'll set sail and enjoy stunning views of the Vancouver area, Passage and Bowen Islands, Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, Howe Sound and even Georgia Straight. Sit back and relax whilst we serve up a light snack and a selection of Beers, Ciders and assortment of alcoholic beverages as you enjoy the views of English Bay. We have water and pop available for the minors, tea and coffee as well. If you're the more adventurous type, we can put you to work and teach you the basics of how to sail, trimming the sails and even take the helm. After 2.5 hours on the water pack up the sails and motor back to Mosquito Creek and the picturesque views of Coal Harbour. Sunset Bike Tour of Vancouver

Our staff will help fit your bicycle, and once we're ready we'll join the protected bikeway right outside the shop. Riding through the Coal Harbour neighbourhood, we'll pass by the Vancouver Convention Centre and ride along the world-famous Vancouver Seawall. We stop periodically for storytelling, question answering, and to catch all the best photo opportunities. Within minutes we'll plunge into the towering woods of Stanley Park, riding down forest trails seeing some 600 year-old trees on our way to a sandy beach. Urban Escape Cruise and Chill
We will meet at the the gate of Pier 32 @ 1333 Johnston Street, Granville Island at your experience time. I highly recommend you explore Granville Island before or after your experience. We will motor out English Bay and hoist the sails (wind dependant). You'll tour the west side and then across the bay where you will have the best photo opportunity of the Vancouver skyline. You can either sit back and relax or try your hand at the helm. All experiences are complimented with non-alcoholic refreshments and a charcuterie board from a Dussa's Ham and Cheese Ltd on Granville Island. If you are lucky, you will get to see some of the great wildlife around the waters of Vancouver. Other things to note *Appropriate boat shoes (non marking - no black soles) are required -- or you will be asked to go barefoot. **Dependant on Environment Canada weather forecasts. Chinatown Walk, Talk & Dim Sum
My Chinatown Walk, Talk & Dim Sum experiences are offered year-round. You will learn about tangible and intangible Chinese culture, including food symbolism. You will learn about the significance of Chinatowns around the world, the importance of Vancouver's Chinatown and the value of the heritage buildings (I am the only one who can take people into the heritage buildings). I will also share dim sum stories. Please contact me if there is a date and/or time that you want that is not listed. (Tour extended from 1.5 hrs to 2.5 hrs.)
Gastown Pub Crawl
Our adventure starts at the Cambie bar and Grill as the first meeting point at 8pm where everybody can enjoy the unique atmosphere of this historic bar of Gastown. For this first meeting point, everybody can get to know each-other over a few drinks while enjoying the entertainment of a Karaoke event taking place. At 8:45pm, we make our way to our first bar which is a popular Irish bar with live music. After an hour spent there, we head to a special dive bar off the beaten path. This place is known mostly only by locals familiar to the area. Next, we head to a popular party bar where a DJ is playing top hits to get the people dancing! After that we go our last stop which is a loud underground bar with awesome live music playing top hits that is sure to finish the night with a bang! At each location, you receive a free shot and free cover.
Hiking with Goats
A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and learning, and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. Finally, the boys love to meet people, and they can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!
Joffre Lakes Hike and Photography
Joffre Lakes is one of BC's most beautiful hikes and is relatively easy to access compared to other alpine lakes. You need to be an experienced hiker and in very good physical condition. The actual hike is 6 hrs return with another 6 hrs of transportation time from Vancouver. If you're brave enough, we'll also take a dip in the ice-cold glacier lakes :) Your 12 hour hiking tour is a picture-perfect way to experience Canada’s natural beauty and safely enjoy the outdoors. It includes pickup and drop off from your accommodation and a scenic drive on the Sea to Sky highway to Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. Details on what to wear and bring along for the tour will be provided, along with follow up questions testing your skill level. With 20+ years of hiking and photography experience, your guide will teach you to take photos while hiking. With small groups and plenty of one-on-one instruction, you’ll learn all about landscape photography and how to capture waterfalls, lakes, glaciers and forests. You will also learn about the indigenous people of the area. After the tour you have the option of grabbing dinner an dwill be dropped off at your place of stay. Gastown & Chinatown Night Photography
This one hour private tour (2 hrs for 2+ guests) is a great way to see Gastown and Chinatown at night, while learning photography. I'll take you to popular spots as well as hidden gems tourists are not familiar with. For photos, we'll cover techniques ranging from long exposure for DSLR cameras to night portrait shots with camera phones. You'll receive complimentary photos after the tour, although this is not a photoshoot (please check other experiences for that).
