Mesa Hideout, Off-Grid Adobe in Terlingua Ranch

The adobe is perched high on the edge of Jack Eden Mesa in the Chihuahuan Desert. The rustic adobe overlooks the historic Comanche Trail and is built near an ancient Indian campsite as evidenced by metate's, stacked rocks and a petroglyph. This is a very remote location and will provide you with a unique, wild west experience not available many other places. The one room cabin has 4 twin beds. All water is captured rainwater and must be used conservatively. There is limited cell phone service.

Escape to peaceful West Texas. Minutes from Big Bend National Park, this renovated trailer has one queen bed, sink, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, Berkey water filter, table, seating area, A/C and heat, an outdoor deck with seating, and an in-ground fire pit. The private bathhouse is a detached adobe bathroom with a shower just 7 ft from the trailer. We have a Tesla charger in the parking lot. Walking distance of restaurants and bars, this is a great base for exploring Ghost Town Terlingua.

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

Glamping Tent with Queen Bed & Beautiful Views

We're excited to share Constellation Off-Grid with you! This has been a favorite place to escape, and want to share the space with fellow travelers! We are only 20min to Big Bend/ Ghost Town, etc. 5 acres to roam and a lot of very cool rocks and adobe ruins. You can take some of the rocks, but please be respectful. It gets cold at night during March & sometime April so we provide an in-tent fireplace with fire extinguisher along with an outdoor fire pit and composting outhouse on site.

Coffee + Coffee maker provided, hot water, AC, comfy bed, and a great place to enjoy the stunning Terlingua sunsets. Plan to bring your own firewood and charcoal.

5 acres of the Terlingua ghost town all to yourself! Walk to the Starlight Theatre and graveyard, drive 15 minutes to get to Big Bend National Park. Take a shower under the Milky Way and enjoy modern conveniences while still getting a true taste of the Wild West. Max: 2 adults can sleep on the queen bed, 2 children could sleep in the fold-out couch (it's short for adults). Pitch a tent on the property if you'd like! Ask about extra guests.
