The building located in the Largo Engº Duarte Pacheco, which currently houses the Pintor Samora Barros Art Gallery, dates back to 1926 and was originally a power plant. In 1988, it was renovated and transformed into an art gallery. This 2-storey building has exterior arch-shaped spaces that allow natural interior lighting. The facade boasts tiles and decorative elements of the painter.
