San Miguel just down the hill is a world-famous surfing beach. From our living room or garden you can watch the surfers. The beach is rocky, so not so good for swimming, but there is a nice sandy area where you can sit and watch surfing, kids can play or you can have a picnic by the beach. At high tide, the coastal lagoon nearby has water in it. This is also near the great San Miguel restaurant, open from 8 to 1:00, so you can also have breakfast or lunch and then walk down and see the beach.
