Just north of Aljezur proper is the small town of Rogil, with one standout café – Pão de Rogil. Potentially the only modern-looking establishment in town, Pão de Rogil could easily be located in Lisbon, with it’s contemporary design and menu. The baked goods however, are all handmade with love and care at this locally owned-and-operated bakery, which beyond serving delicious toasties and addictive cookies, sells fresh loaves of rustic bread that can be purchased in house or at supermarkets around the area.
