After a short boat trip with Ger Madden (local historian), from Mountshannon harbour, you'll arrive at Inis Cealtra. Bring a picnic and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

A beautiful fun day out if the weather is kind, you catch a boat from Mountshannon harbour. Don't forget to bring the Rosery beads if you are intending to say a few prayers. It's also worth bringing a picnic or stay a short while and eat in the Snug pizza restaurant or The Oak Café is excellent too.
