Puerto Nuevo is a community located in Rosarito Beach Municipality in the Mexican state of Baja California; it is famous as the "Lobster Village" of Baja California. The 2010 census reported a population of 135 inhabitants.

Known for its lobster, this small and mighty beach town serves over 100,000 lobsters a year. Great for an evening dinner and shopping but not much to do other than that!

Take a walk down Puerto Nuevo. There are lots of shops where you can find hand made items, souvenirs and snacks. There are many restaurants with delicious seafood. We personally love la casa de el pescador.
