The space
Camden House Holidays provide an open plan beautiful home with large areas of glass to bring the outside in.

Very well-equipped , homely, stylish, comfortable and warm, a spacious haven for families and friends.

A wood-burning stove provides a cosy indoor focal point in the colder months, and the fire pit provides somewhere outdoors to look at the surrounding forests and mountains, spot wildlife ,shooting stars and sometimes even the Northern Lights.

The modern kitchen provides an excellent range of equipment so you can cook wonderful meals for family and friends.

This house is ideal for summer breaks, winter ski and boarding trips, mountain climbing and other outdoor pursuits and Family/Friends holidays, all year round.

We have welcomed many guests who have appreciated the peaceful location and requirement to be respectful of our home and the local community.

This house is ideal for quiet family/friends celebrations and quality time together but it is not suitable for party events due to the impact on the tranquil surroundings and community so please do not book for this purpose.

We have an 'eco' heat pump heating system, use kiln-dried, sustainable, non-polluting fire wood in the wood-burner and LED low energy lighting where possible. We use environmentally friendly products.

We provide locally made Highland Soap Company shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for our guests to try out. They are organic, natural, sustainable and vegan, and they are provided in recycled and refillable bottles.

We welcome well-behaved pets. We have an air purifier for those who do not have pets so there are no concerns about allergies to pet dander etc.

Camden House has its own driveway and turning space which can accommodate up up to 5 cars. Train station, linking to Glasgow, Edinburgh and London is 1.8 miles away. Airports at Inverness (1.5 hour drive) Glasgow (2.5 hour drive). Edinburgh 2.75 hour drive)

House is on one level and is wheelchair accessible
All bed linen is provided along with 2 large towels per guest
No Smoking inside house but there are smoking areas in the garden
Strict maximum of 8 people at the house due to licensing requirements.
Highchair, 2 cots, baby bath, changing mat , toddler booster seat provided but please bring your own cot linen if possible.
Please bring a dog crate if your pet is a chewer or not house trained.
Please read the manual on arrival to ensure you get the best from Camden House and to ensure you are able to understand and follow all health and safety requirements and the check out procedure, which is in line with most holiday cottages.
We don't charge for the use of our hot tub but guests must check and maintain the chemical levels during their stay and must follow all of the instructions (full instructions and equipment given in house) Thank you
