Harding Lake State Recreation area is just 12 miles south down the Richardson Highway. The Salcha Ski trails are a short distance away and start from the parking lot of the Salcha Elementary School

Aurora Outpost is located on a private 100 acre homestead just 7 minutes from Fairbanks and 5 minutes from Fox, AK. There is NO electricity, lighting is provided by warm lanterns. There is NO plumbing, but there is a small water system and outhouse. I am also available 24/7 to answer any questions about the features of the cabin or to help guests enjoy the cabin to its fullest!

To avoid the steep part of the driveway, there is a parking space 100 feet away from cabin. An extension cord for the headbolt heater can be supplied, if needed.
