This is my favorite place in Austin. Beautiful ambiance and great French brasserie food! I highly recommend it, and it's a little off the beaten path, which is nice.

Really great mostly vegetarian food. I am addicted to their potato leek omelet and their gluten free bread. Their coffee is really good too.

This is an experience. Line up by 9:30am, take a chair or a blanket & something to read (or a group of people to talk to) & wait until they open @ 11:30 and start serving. It. Is. Worth. It. Promise.

One of the oldest dance halls in Texas. I adore this place and come here regularly on weekends to check out the music. It is often free!

Drinks & Nightlife

6th Street is worth seeing but it can be SUPER crazy overrun with drunk college kids. So instead consider the Rainy Street area where there are little bars in old houses to hang out at!
