Seafood. The fish stew is amazing, as is the tuna tartar. Also fun to just sit at the large beautiful bar for a cocktail.

One of the best restaurants in the city, and a hard reservation to get. A finalist for the national James Beard award, it's also one of the best values for a top foodie experience in San Francisco. The bacon beignets are the signature starter. Be sure to order the house wine. The chef picks it herself, and you only pay for as much as you drink - the carafe is marked with lines to keep track!

Drinks & Nightlife

Gay sports bar (mixed crowd, all welcome) that also serves a foodie version of traditional bar foods. Some even have kale. A great place to watch a Warriors or Giants game, if you want to be with a crowd.
