Ross Castle has been recently restored and a guided tour costs approximately 5-7 euro which is well worth taking. Ross Castle is on the Lake shore with the most beautiful views. It is possible to get a boat tour from Ross Castle which takes you to the Gap of Dunloe, you can either walk or taking a horse and cart through the Gap. This is a full day trip and if you like a trek is the ideal option to get a day away from driving. I promise you this will be the highlight of your stay in Killarney....if the weather co-operates !! No need to book online as we will book on the morning for you as the weather needs to be good to get the best out of this trip.
