Flower hill is an excellent equestrian centre for the slightly more experienced rider. It’s set on a huge estate and there are many beautiful riding areas amongst jumps for all levels of levels of riders. The host Oliver Walsh is a delightful man and couldn’t be anymore helpful and accommodating.

This is a fantastic place for the beginner rider and family’s . There is an organic kitchen there also which is delightful to eat. Another must see. There are also miles of woods to walk in.

Fun things
This is one of Europe’s largest tracks. There are is a small track for the younger teenagers or adults and then there is the big track for the more daring and experienced pilot. They also do paint balling and splat balling for the younger ones.

This beautiful little village is just 5 minutes from our place by car. It has a couple of pubs and a shop. Recommended would be Walsh’s Bar and Restaurant. They do great quality pub style food and the prices are great. a must for all visitors

This is a beautiful historic town with many features there is a Marina, forest park, play ground, pharmacy ,take always , pubs and supermarkets such as ALDI and supervalue. There is also an old famine workhouse which is open for viewing at certain times. A beautiful little town for a day out indeed.
