A great place to go for produce and for tortillas, cheese, chips, anything you need from a mini-market. They do not have fresh water. Usually the employees can speak English.

It’s very good. The clam chowder, the oysters. If you are not a raw oyster fan, the grilled ones are also amazing. There is a nice outdoor spot to sit overlooking the estuary. Rancho Mi Refugio km 8.5 road to La Bufadora

Sightseeing

Beautiful views and lots of vendors wanting to sell you anything and everything. Vendors all speak English, and many are from the states. Try the churros, but be sure they are still hot. There are restrooms you can pay to use.

Walk down the beach less than a mile during low tide and bring a shovel. Dig yourself a jacuzzi.

We've never gone, but they run fishing trips and have fishing supplies. Looks great. They also sell smoked fish and frozen catches from the previous weeks. When I can’t find fresh fish at Jesse and Sons, I go here and get frozen.

You access this cove from Campo 9, drive about a mile and then park in the paid parking. It is a steep hike down, but worth it. No restrooms.
