French. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. In Cole Valley, 5 min. walk from our house. This traditional French restaurant is our favorite place for special dinners. Tried and tested menu with an excellent wine list. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. We try to grab a table on the patio whenever we can. Not to worry, it has heated lamps and throws for those foggy SF evenings. And, it’s romantic! The menu is not extensive but reliable and has never disappointed us. Our favorites are trout munier, coq au vin, cheese plate and charcuterie. They now have more tables on the sidewalk and in the parklets. Warning: For brunch Friday-Sunday, Zazie gets extremely popular and busy, with wait times for a table as much as 30-45 minutes. Open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please check the hours on Yelp. Vegetarian options are also available. *Last checked, they are not taking reservations for lunch.
