Decantos Vinicola offers an expansive view of the valley and an ambiance that is relaxing and serene. Their wines offer a treat to the palate. We enjoyed the Carignan Blanc, the Carignan Rose and the unique and delicious Pinot Noir Blanc. The owners Jorge and Maria were wonderful and gracious hosts, as were all the employees we encountered. In all, our visit to Decantos Vinicola was a memorable experience that we highly recommend.

Experience some of the finest wines, Viña de Frannes is a boutique winery located in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe. It's located in the middle of the mountains. They have a 100% cabernet franc which is very hard to find, we paired it with an aged rib eye and it was just perfect. Their best wine is called pater, is a cabernet sauvignon, my opinion? PERFECT !!

Closed for many years, Casa Pedro Domeq is one of the oldest bodegas of Valle de Guadalupe. The new owners (Pernod-Ricard) have remodeled the installations showcasing the history of the brand, initially formed in Spain since 1730, selling brandy de Jerez Fundador. The tour also reveals the massive underground cellars used over the years when they started the winery in Valle de Guadalupe in the 1970's.

It's upscale and fancy, yes. Its also mostly lives up to its reputation. Visit the cafe and the wine tour/tasting. The facility itself is great with pretty good wines, though the Jipi (hippie) wines were really good, as well as the Bastardo (bastard) really stood out.

My favorite Boutique Winery for its wines! All their wines are delicious! They have a 2019 “Vuelo” (Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay blend) very light and refreshing , 2020 “Stainless Chardonnay” (100% Chardonnay) I loved this wine! Out of all the white wines I tried in Valle de Guadalupe, this was the best!, 2020 Pluma (100% Nebbiolo), and 2018 “Reserva Amantes (a blend of Cab, Nebbiolo and Merlot) both rich in bouquet and flavor. This is a must-go-to winery! Wine tasting

This is one of the best spots in Guadalupe Valley This is an amazing Winery House and Restaurant, great food, awesome customer service, and some of the best wines I've tested in the Valley. My two favorite Wines here are the Seiscientos and Setescientos Reales. Personal opinion, is always fantastic when the Chef comes and ask for your honest feedback.

AlXimia Winery is a very unique and completely different winery than what you will find anywhere else in the world. Started by a mathematician turned winemaker, this amazing winery was built by an innovative architect, the mathematician-winemaker and his astronomer father. It’s a 3 story round building that has been called “the flying saucer that landed in the Valle de Guadalupe”, the “Cathedral of Wine”, or “a sculpture disguised as a winery”. From the 2nd floor tasting room you can see the whole winemaking process, as the grapes come to the top floor and travel by gravity to the 2 floors below for fermentation, aging in French oak barrels and bottling. The barrel room is underground and can be viewed from above. You will be able to taste and buy their delicious wines – mostly non-traditional blends that make the best of the Italian & Spanish varietals that grow so well in these hot wine valleys.
