If you are interested in Irish history or beliefs then make sure to visit St. Joseph's well its approximately a quarter of a mile from Athas just walk along the road in the opposite direction to Spanish Point and you will find it

Liscannor is the home of John Holland the inventor of the submarine there is a lovely little Dock area on the way in to the town which is nice to have a look at

Great place to visit plenty to do here, check out their website for more information, opening times and seasonal activities. They have a fantastic birds of prey centre and also lovely gift shops. Allow a bit of time for this visit, it's good to tie in with a day visiting the burren

Great cave to visit and kids will love it but not suitable for anyone with a disability as there are a lot of steps to go down to the cave and to come back up as well! There are platforms along the way where you can stop and take a well earned rest! Lovely to see though would recommend, if you are making a day of it I would suggest stopping off in Doilin village for a wander around and maybe a spot of lunch

The falls in Ennistymon is a nice place to visit if you are driving through the town.Follow the signs for the falls Hotel you can park here and walk down by the falls there is also a small donkey sanctuary here, the falls Hotel is also a nice spot for lunch
