Vicentine coast is a surf paradise and Praia da Arrifana is the best spot if you want to get initiated. This natural bay has steady smaller waves perfect for learning. There are several stores in Aljezur and on your way Arrifana where you can rent suits, surfboards and have surf lessons. Avoid if you are not into surf as this place is usually crowded with surfers : )
