Great frozen custard and casual take-out. Made fresh. The owners are super friendly and work in the restaurant. They know my order when I walk in. I LOVE the chicken nuggets as a quick beach snack! I go for lunch almost every beach day in the summer. Walk up from the sand at Access 29.

Take the Scenic Route!
On your way to the beach from the Hidden Gem, go straight at the light on Wrightsville Ave to go onto Airlie Rd. This adds just a couple minutes to your drive, but it's the most gorgeous scenery in all of Wilmington. The curve looking out over the water is my favorite place in the whole city.
