This is a great place for a walk, a toasted sandwich and a pint...it is also possible to drive through, though it is narrow and busy. Bicycles are a better option. When you go through the gap,you can do a (long) looped cycle back to killarney, or take a boat at Brandon's cottage back in to Killarney. Beautiful day out!

this waterfall is worth seeing, and the steps that lead up along are a nice bit of exercise! if you'refit, keep going along the old Kenmareroad and up the mountainitself for unequalled views of Killarney
