Excellent traditional food and value. During weekday lunchtimes the 'prato do dia' (working man's meal) is always a good choice.

Hotel with a great restaurant - and with a great countryside view. At lunchtimes, just the buffet (visit as many times as you wish) will satisfy all tastes, and if you particularly enjoy meats then choosing the 'rodizio carne' (round of meats) will particularly please.

Sightseeing

Every town has its own particular features - São Brás de Alportel notably in the production of cork and which now hosts a costume museum in what was once a cork producer's house. The exhibits are always worthy of a browse and the grounds are tranquil and equally full of interest, with galleries and a cafe, which are open during the week.
