What to see

Petřín Lookout Tower, one of the most prominent landmarks of Prague, was built as part of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891 as a loose copy inspired by the Eiffel Tower (at a ratio of 1:5). The view from its top overlooks not only the whole city but on a clear day, you can see nearly all of Bohemia.

Petřín Hill is one of the largest urban green areas and its slopes are an oasis of calm in the center of Prague. The Rose Garden, or rosarium, at the top of Petrin Hill, Nebozízek Garden and the Seminary Garden with more than 2,100 fruit trees are particularly magical.

An island between the Vltava River and its side branch, Čertovka, where you can see the huge mill wheel of the 15th century former Grand Priory Mill, is one of the most romantic and picturesque places in the city. Not surprisingly, the prestigious traveler's server VirtualTourist declared it the second most beautiful city island in the world.

Prague´s classic! We can hardly imagine anything more charming and romantic than hire the small boat or paddle boat and wander around the small islands on the Vltava. The island where you can hire it is located right in the center, close to the National Theatre.

Café Lounge is a stylish café with a great atmosphere, winner of a number of awards in café polls. It combines premium coffee, good cooking, their own in-house bakery and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A favorite with the locals for meetings. Prague farmers markets are one of the places to visit if you're spending the weekend in Prague. They are authentic, genuine and very popular among the locals. You can enjoy the view of the Prague Castle in the distance, feed yourself with some Czech produce, a fresh meal, and Czech beer and wine.
