Best soup dumplings you will ever have. They open at noon, so it's great for brunch. The service is exceptional and the Szechuan inspired food is some of the best in the city! Highly recommend you go during your stay!

Best pizza in the world. I've traveled all across Italy and this pizza tops it! Open until 11 most nights! God for late dinner around 9, and you won't be waiting excruciatingly long for a table. Definitely a must do for anyone who comes to New York. Honestly the best of the best!

Without a doubt, the best cookies I have ever had in my life! Go at an awkward time, like 2 or 3 pm to avoid the ridiculous block circling line. No matter how long the wait, these cookies are beyond worth it. The peanut butter cookie is to die for. Central park is also next door, so burning off the calories will be much easier.

Best rice pudding you will ever have. Last I checked they have almost 20 different flavors, and every single one is as good as the last. I'm lactose intolerant, and I still go through the discomfort of having rice pudding here.

Best Coffee Chain in Manhattan. Their Cortado coffee's are to die for. Start every morning with a coffee from La Colombe. Very rarely does this location allow seating, so keep in mind that you'll have to find a place to sit. Directly across the street is a public space with small shops and access to the 2/3 trains.

Best Michelin experience you will have in Manhattan. Meal's go upwards of $300, but it is a once in a life-time experience to be had in New York. The service and quality of the food is outstanding, Go for lunch to be a bit more budget savvy, and book for dinner for something special. Reservations needed.

Pastrami sandwiches to die for. They cost a whopping $20 a sandwich, but they come packed with a pound of meat each. Buy 1 sandwich to share and order sides. This is a neighborhood mecca, and a classic among New Yorkers.

Drinks & Nightlife

Incredible cocktail program, beautiful view of Lower Manhattan through the loft like layout, and tall beaming glass that captures the whole space. A bit of a higher end feel, great place to either start or end the night.

Great selections of off-shelf liquors and spirits, fantastic cocktail program and great open room feel. Very social style bar, also a tad higher end, but a weekend ritual for my friends and myself.

Underground club with adult entertainment and burlesque. One of a kind venue and a surreal experience you're assured to remember for a lifetime. Try to get in early at 10 pm to get your stamp, and go over to a bar somewhere else for a few hours before coming back. After 12 am is when the show really starts.
