Ok the golf course is great, but coffee in the Clubhouse and a walk on the beautiful long wild beach below is what I do, a mecca for surfers. google "doughmore beach"

World Famous and well worth the visit on the way to the Burren. If your kids need something else book them into surfing classes in lahinch and enjoy some me time in the Burren.

Newly opened cave, totally worth a visit. Doolin is famous for its traditional music. There is a ferry to the Aran Islands from Doolin which is a great trip if you have time google "Dun Aengus"
