Take a day out to the Gap of Dunloe, stopping at Glengarriff and onto the picturesque town of Kenmare where you will find a good selection of cafes and restaurants offering locally sourced produce. There are some interesting shops in the town. Carry on through the rock tunnels over the Cork and Kerry mountains to Molls Gap where you will find the road to the Gap of Dunloe. A visit to the Torc Waterfall adds a special touch to the day.

Glengarriff woods are great for a family walk and then back to the village for a good selection of cafes and restaurants. Then a browse in the Irish craft shops. There is a charming foreshore walk and you can get a boat from here over to Garnish Island and to see the seals. Just outside of Glengarriff on the road to Kenmare you will find The Ewe Experience "a wonderful combination of nature, art, natural history, literature & humour"

Glengarriff woods are great for a family walk and then back to the village for a good selection of cafes and restaurants. Then a browse in the Irish craft shops. There is a charming foreshore walk and you can get a boat from here over to Garnish Island and to see the seals. Just outside of Glengarriff on the road to Kenmare you will find The Ewe Experience "a wonderful combination of nature, art, natural history, literature & humour"
