Hag’s head is probably my favourite part of the Cliffs of Moher, it’s quiet, there is cheap (€2) parking nearby and it’s infinitely quieter than the main visitor centre.

Beautiful Burren walk, about an hour and a half long, exceptional variety and views, Goat’s and Belted Galloway cows along the way and coffee and cake with Harrie and family at the end. Yum.

The best hangout in town, no knowing what chance meetings and conversations will be had or what fab musicians will step in off the street and add to the enchantment. The cheese press is an experience and seems to operate in an altered space and time. Sinéad is the best host and will lubricate the social goings on with her banter and introductions agus tá Gaeilge ailín aici.

The baking surfer, up at 4:30am to bake awesome sourdough breads. Sausage rolls uniquely delicious and Portuguese Pastels are on a par with Lisbon. Staff are friendly and fun and great filter coffee.
