Awesome seafood. This spot is a little pricey, but has a backyard and is worth it!

This is a bit of a secret park, but is actually really lovely. They have a farmer's market on Sundays too.

This is a great, free venue. They usually have good music, and is worth just dropping in to, to see what is going on. The sound is great, and the rooms are intimate.

Sightseeing

It's just a beautiful park. I much prefer it to Central Park, though Central Park is also an iconic New York thing to see. Park Slope is more of a real park, Central Park is a city park. They also have lots of concerts in the summer, some of which are free. Check the local listings on Park Slope for more info, and take the G train to get you there directly.

Arts & Culture

This is a quirky little museum. I am sure you have your eyes set on the Met and Moma and whatever else, but this is an overlooked museum that dives into the history of the New York Gangster world that is well worth the detour.

Essentials

Tony and his family run this place. They're great and you can just drop off your laundry at theirs. They use only green products, if you care about that.

Entertainment & Activities

Nitehawk is awesome. Quirky local cinema where you can have dinner and drinks whilst watching the movies. They tend toward arthouse/ commercial films.
