Drinks & Nightlife

Little Miss Whiskey's is an eclectic bar that's been an institution on H Street for ages. While not a gay-bar, it's the closest thing we have to one on H Street. They have a great bar, some hard to find beer, and an edgy but welcoming vibe that's always a great time!

Parks & Nature

The National Arboretum is a underappreciated green space in DC. There's plenty of acreage for pups to play and lots of space to hike or walk. The Capitol Columns in the center o the park are quite a feature to behold and a uniquely DC combination of art and history. From the top of the hill you can see DC and the Capitol. Or stop by the Bonsai museum or wander the Azaleas. If the weather is nice, the grove of State Trees is good for a picnic.

The Nats stadium is well worth the visit and easy to access on the Green line at the Navy Yard metro. Allow a little extra time to get there. Or you can take a 90/92 bus from my place down 8th Street and it's a short walk to the west.
