The Sky road is worth a visit with it's breath taking views just outside of Clifden town. Along the high road, taking the narrow winding roads.

Omey Island is our beautiful view and in walking distance from your accomodation. Peace and tranquility and amazing views of the Atlantic. To be enjoyed in any weather.

Take the ferry from Cleggan village to the island. Daily sailings morning and evening. Cleggan village is only 5mins or so in the car from Claddaghduff. (2.5miles)

Getting Around

Sorry this Cleggan Beach Riding centre is not operating at the moment. There is another outside of Clifden town, The Point Pony Trekking & Horse Riding Centre Pony trekking on the Omey strand/Island and local beaches. It's a nice way to see the area. The centre is local, only 5mins or so by car to Cleggan village.
