Long standing Austin traditional Tex-Mex with great service and family friendly. My favs: a 'large Bob' (queso dip), crispy tortilla chips, chile relleno & great margaritas. Go early (5:30-6pm) to avoid long wait lines.

My favorite BBQ. Authentic long time BBQ place, (over 60 years in the same location). I know everyone loves Franklin's, who does have the best brisket, but this place has absolutely the best pork ribs and sausage and you don't have to wait in line for 5 hours. It's totally worth the drive. BBQ sauce is tangy, not sweet.

Excellent interior Mexico cuisine. The Sunday brunch is worth every penny. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service. Go hungry!

If you must eat at a pizza chain, I think they have the best sauce, I always request extra. This location also has TV for watching sports.

Great summer swimming in all natural 68 degree spring water! There are also hiking trails along the upstream reaches of the creek that feed the pool. The Splash exhibit (free) is informative and interactive (great for kids). It's in the same location as the Zilker Hillside Theater, great for summer nights too.
