I am a native English speaker, fluent in Spanish, who has been living in Saint Malo ten years.

After meeting beside L'hippocampe creperie inTregastel, I will lead you on a tour of five of the Pink Granite Coast's most remarkable Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age archaeological sites. Amongst Europe's earliest permanent structures, these sites are mostly dedicated to the dead, with some of them incorporating stunning engravings. Together we will travel along a short stretch of coastline seeking out the sites, exploring their interiors and attempting to decode the story of each monument. This is by far my most popular tour. Unlike any museum exhibit, these sites allow you to climb inside (if you don't mind getting a little mucky) and you can even touch the iconic carvings that are anything up to 5,500 years old. An experience like this enables you to make a direct connection with our ancestors in the company of your own private archaeologist. Although I do not provide your transport, I will remain close throughout the duration of your tour, ensuring you don't go astray. Our tour ends at a truly unique site close to the village of Penvern. Depending on the season, it may be possible for you visit a local creperie mid way through your tour, where we can sit and discuss the wonderful sites you have seen so far. As a qualified archaeologist I'm happy to answer any questions that pop up, and to provide you with all the background context you need.

Want to learn how to make those incredible buckwheat crêpes (galettes) and sweet dessert crêpes from Brittany? Here’s your chance. In this workshop, I’ll share all the tips and trick I learned at ‘Crêpe School’ (a professional culinary program I took). You'll also learn to ‘turn’ your own crêpes and galettes on a billig (large, round, cast-iron griddle) and on a stovetop pan…so you can take your newfound crêpe-making skills back to your own kitchen. Then we'll sit down to a hot-off-the-griddle lunch of galettes and crêpes washed down with local cider.

L'activité s'adresse autant à un public néophyte que confirmé, dans le monde de la voile, adulte comme enfant (10 ans) peuvent évoluer seul sur ce type de support, pour les plus jeunes il faut prévoir un biplace. Ainsi la sensation de navigation, d'évolution avec l'élément vent, tout en restant au sec se ressent des les premiers instants de pratique. La pratique du char à voile est un sport fun, agréable à pratiquer en famille et entre amis. Brittany is where it all started for salted caramel, thanks to the salted Breton butter the region's pastry chefs have always used to make their luscious amber confections. In this class I'll draw on my pastry chef experience so we can delve into all things caramel. We'll prepare a fleur de sel- seasoned caramel sauce, a buttery, caramelized kouign amann (flaky, traditional breton cake), and aand glistening tarte statins. You'll be taking treats home with you, too! La Bretagne est le pays d'origine du caramel au beurre salé. Dans cet atelier, je puiserai dans mon expérience de patissière pour un moment 100% caramel. Nous préparerons une sauce caramel au beurre salé , l'incontournable kouign amann (bien caramelisé) et des petites tartes tatin qui brillent comme des bijoux.

Mon Savoureux Jardin vous propose désormais un rendez-vous récurent pour découvrir les bonnes herbes du jardin, celles qu'on a tendance à arracher parce qu'elles ne sont pas à leur place ou celle qu'on ne fait que regarder parce qu'elles sont jolies. Nous vous invitons donc à venir les cueillir, les cuisiner et les savourer avec nous, mais aussi à découvrir leurs autres usages, le temps d'une demi-journée. Accueillis à 9h par une collation sauvage, je vous emmènerai ensuite à la découverte des plantes sauvages dans le domaine de 7 hectares, puis nous les cuisinerons selon plusieurs recettes et les dégusterons ensemble. Si vous venez de loin, il est possible de séjourner sur place, alors n'hésitez pas à vous renseigner.

You will be immersed in the heart of the salt marshes of Guérande. As a passionate paludière, I would take you to my world, my salt land, we will enjoy a unique and quiet place, away from tourist circuits. We will taste if the season allows us to halophile plants (salicornes, maritime aster...). I will explain to you in a playful way the qualities of the mother's waters in which salt transforms. Finally, I would introduce you to the different qualities of salt and all the products I make. At the end of the visit you will no longer see the large salt and salt flower as before... See you soon PS: You will be in the heart of the salt marshes of Guerande. It is a marsh, like a field for a farmer. There is no toilet, no electricity, no running water.

Going "off the beaten track" is a great way to experience some of central Brittany's enthralling ancient mysteries without the crowds. On the "Locminé Loop" tour you will visit some of the Locminé area's lesser known archaeological gems. In groups of up to nine guests we will meet in the center of Locminé, before heading off in our vehicles into the surrounding countryside to explore half a dozen sites, where you will be in the hands of an experienced archaeologist who is a native English speaker. Your guide will take the lead in his own vehicle, stopping at various points on the tour to share the magic and stories of some wonderful locations that are easily missed by most visitors. These sites range from picturesque to breathtaking. Throughout the tour your guide will be happy to answer your questions, helping you to appreciate and understand the ingenuity of the ancient people and cultures that created these intriguing monuments. The tour will take around three and a half hours, (often longer for guests who have LOTS of questions) with the option of ending back in Locminé where there will be the opportunity to talk over what you have seen at a local bar.
