Set in the lush green countryside of the Vale of Glamorgan, The Old Mill, Yr Hen Felin, is set in 2 acres of cottage garden, with an extensive vegetable garden, ducks, hens, fantail doves, pigs, sheep and Alpacas. There are numerous seats in the seats in the garden to sit and muse. Guests are welcome to use the hot tub.
Breakfast included.

The space
Guests have access to the three downstairs reception rooms. These include a vaulted room with a central fireplace opening to a dining area on one side and a sitting area on the other and french doors onto the garden. This room is beautiful all year round, but very cosy on a winter's day, and even more magical at Christmas with a 12 ft Christmas tree, traditional Christmas decorations, many of which are homemade. The second reception room, the heart of the house, is a traditional open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a log burning fire and french doors onto the south west facing patio. The third reception room is a modern space with a definite "wow" factor- a floating oak staircase, floating glass canopies, bifold doors and a log burning fire. Upstairs there is a cinema room with an overhead projector.
We also host cider making days, art courses, bread making courses, cookery demonstrations, corporate days, functions and weddings.
