The apartment is on the lower level of a single family home, remodeled, quiet and comfortable. There is a private entrance, the apartment can accommodate a couple.
In one area the ceiling is 6'3" High.
It is within walking distance of Bethesda center and 2 metro stations on the red line, NIH and Walter Reed.
NIH visitors: without a badge you'll have to register at the Visitor Center on Wisconsin Ave., those going to to the Clinical Center and Children's Inn may use the Cedar Street entrance

The apartment is on the lower level of a single family home. Recently remodeled, comfortable and very well appointed. There is a private entrance which is separated from the main house. Apartment can accommodate a couple or a family.
Fully furnished, includes bed linen, towels...
Quiet, great neighborhood. Easy access to DC center and attractions.
New appliances in Kraft Maid kitchenette with granite countertop, includes Convection/Microwave oven, LG refrigerator/Freezer.
Washer and Dryer in the unit, exclusive use.
Walk in closet.
Short walk to NIH south entrance or to Suburban Hospital and Walter Reed. Walk to Bethesda center (200 restaurants, live theater, movie theaters...) or to Walter Reed Medical Center.
Red line metro, either Medical Center or Bethesda on red line.
HVAC and additional baseboard with thermostat. Utilities and WIFI (Fios) are included.
Ideal for someone without a car. Street parking available with residential guest parking provided.

Please note that an area in the basement - between kitchen and living has lower ceiling height. If you are over 6' 3" tall you will have to be careful not to bump your head in that area.
There is one main room. The apartment is "U" shaped from the entrance and washer dryer area and kitchenette, turning along the dining area and further towards the large room that has a bed nook.

During COVID I will only accept vaccinated travelers. No more than one visiting fiend or relative allowed during the stay.

Longer term guests (over 3 weeks) will have to sign a small lease form that will spell out expectations for care of apartment such as remove lint from dryer after each use, close window during inclement weather...
