La propriété appartient à notre famille depuis plusieurs générations (depuis 1804 exactement). Nos anciens vivaient de la culture de la terre: vignes, oliviers, mais aussi des fleurs, les narcisses principalement. La maison était pour une grande part dédiée à l’activité agricole et comptait aussi des écuries, des poulaillers, des cochonniers, des paillères. Au cours des siècles, la bastide s’est transformée, a évolué, tout en gardant son authenticité. Le four à pain, encore visible dans notre salle à manger, témoigne de l'époque où elle était le coeur du quartier, les habitants des alentours venaient aux offices à la chapelle et cuisaient leur pain.
