Where you’ll be

Dunster, FRASER FORT GEORGE H, BC,, Canada

Dunster is a quiet place. There is a general store, hours are Mon/Sat 9 TIL 5 and Sun 1 til 5. They carry most anything you could need including local handicrafts, books and souvenirs, a post office, fresh produce, groceries, meat and gas. There is also an interesting museum open 1 to 5 on certain days. McBride library hosts all manner of workshops. In the summer, there is a community market on Saturdays up at the hall. The Fraser River runs right through the valley and is great for paddling and white water rafting. There are several trails close by to get you into the mountains. There's some good restaurants in McBride and Valemount. There is a grocery store in McBride and another in Valemount. Buy groceries before coming if you plan on arriving after 5pm. Both McBride and Valemount have awesome mountain bike trail systems.

Hi there, I really like nature walks, wildlife viewing, gardening, listening to and playing music, travel, brewing, people and good healthy food. I can speak a little bit of spanish and smatterings of several european languages. Love to travel in South America, have spent time in the UK and Ireland as well as all across Europe, Canada and the Western USA, with some short visits into touristic Mexico. I came from North Vancouver in 1996 and built this place and have never looked back (well apart from visiting family of course). This is a beautiful area, majestic, serene, clean and everchanging. I work in hospitality, so you will be in good hands here!
