Experience something special in a unique Swiss mini chalet. Ideal for unplugging and escaping for a stay away from society. Without electricity or running water, this adventure is ideal for camping lovers. A boiler is available for cold nights. This unusual home is accessed via a path that we have built on the grounds of our main home. Come and have this beautiful experience near several memorable tourist attractions.

The space
This mini Swiss chalet of 54 square feet has a large window overlooking the forest adjacent to our private property. The entire place is just one bedroom. A comfortable double mattress has been installed in the center of the small room. Clean bedding will be provided, folded on the bed upon your arrival. Although the accommodation is “off-grid” i.e. running water and electricity are not available, we have added two small battery-powered lamps to light you up in the evening and a 20L of drinking water is also available. A two-round propane camping plaque as well as a kitchen camping set will be accessible to you as well. Everything will be stored in the snipe.

The trail is equipped with lights to help you orient yourself. A dry, odor-free toilet is available during your stay. Simply add cedar chips after use. A picnic table is functional and you are encouraged to use it for cooking, eating or even playing board games.

This minimalist environment allows you to unplug from major cities. It's a perfect opportunity to catch up on the few books we've started but are late to finish!

We are Kariane and Vincent, new parents for 10 months already! We built and lived in the yurt on Kariane's parents' property. We had no experience under construction but curious and resourceful, we ended this beautiful project. Now we want to share this great experience with you.
